Your computer systems really should be the last thing on your mind. You can’t be a specialist in every field, that is why you hired your current IT company — to anticipate problem, set-up systems, monitor function, and offer feedback in anticipation of the needs you will soon face as an organization. If you find yourself in the dark about your systems/set-up and you AREN’T experiencing any hiccups whatsoever — then, you are in good shape! Some very capable hand is at your IT helm.
But…if you are having problems, then you should consider the following signs that you need to find a new IT company to help your organization thrive:
1 — IF your systems run SLOW, make a switch.
Nobody has time for costly delays or repetitive “error” messages, connectivity issues, etc. It doesn’t have to be this way.
2 – IF your personnel are exasperated
…and suggesting, “there has got to be a better way to…” then you should pay attention and consider making a switch.
3 – IF your current IT company-
does a lot of head-nodding and note-taking when they’re at your address, but isn’t proactively checking in to see how changes are performing or making suggestions about future needs, then you owe it to your organization to look around for better options.
5 — IF your current IT company
…also sells nutritional supplements or blenders — it’s probably time for a change. (really, some do!)
